The artist
Hello! My name is Amadea Mairina, though many know me by the name edeamame.
Born in Surabaya and raised in Bali, I’m a Fine Art graduate from the Indonesian Institute of the Arts, Bali. I’m deeply passionate about creating visual art and continuously exploring new mediums and possibilities to express creativity in many forms.
For me, art is a way to translate thoughts, emotions, and ideas into something visual and alive. That’s also why I’m drawn to live painting, it allows me to capture not just an image, but the feeling of a moment. Rather than painting a photo-like scene, I love playing with visible brushstrokes, colors, and the energy of the atmosphere, transforming fleeting moments into timeless works of art.
It’s truly an honor to witness people’s most meaningful occasions and bring those memories onto canvas. Seeing the joy, love, and warmth of the day and interpreting them through paint fills me with gratitude. My hope is that each piece I create allows people to cherish their fondest memories forever.
